Alan Edward Grischke grew up in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin graduating from Lincoln High School. After college he moved to Chicago and graduated from law school. He then practiced law in Chicago for the following eleven years before moving back to Wisconsin and settling in Wausau in 1982 where he has been ever since. He is the father of two daughters, Hannah and Rachel.

An avid sportsman, Alan still has a seasonal cottage in Lac du Flambeau on Fence Lake which has been in his family since 1954.

Alan has been practicing law for 44 years. His practice is exclusively in the personal injury field and he has been a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist since 1993. He handles cases only on behalf of people injured due to the negligence of others such as: car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle, snowmobile, aircraft, boating, personal watercraft, ATV accidents; dog bites, hunting accidents, slip and fall cases, unsafe products and professional malpractice, to name a few of his practice areas.
